Giving up your precious time to serve goes against conventional wisdom. You may think, “My life is already stretched to the max.” But if you’re feeling frazzled and disconnected, the very best way to get to know others is to serve alongside people who have similar passions and gifts as you. Serving at church is more than volunteerism – you are building up the living body of Christ.
SGBC Church is different than some churches, where a small percentage does all the work and everyone else observes; at SGBC we ask everyone to be in a small group, and on a serving team. We have so many serving teams that it is possible to pick one that really dovetails with your gifting!
