Rev. Ada|PASTOR’S CORNER| VBC 2025 Recap — “Live It Out!”

Praise the LORD! We just wrapped up an incredibly joyful and fruitful week of Vacation Bible Camp (August 5–9), and our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. This year, we welcomed 42 campers along with 35 dedicated staff and volunteers who served faithfully throughout the week.

Our theme, “Live It Out! Discover How to Love Like Jesus,” encouraged everyone—children and adults alike—to not just learn about God’s love but to put it into action in daily life. Each day, we explored a different way to “live out” our faith through Bible stories, worship, crafts, games, and small group sharing. The laughter, energy, and genuine connections reminded us of the joy that comes when God’s people gather around His Word.

  • Love One Another
  • Be Kind to One Another
  • Forgive One Another
  • Pray for One Another
  • Serve One Another

“I give you a new command. Love one another. You must love one another, just as I have loved you.” John 13:34 NIrV

The campers were divided into three big groups—FAITH, HOPE, and LOVE—and four teams. Each team was led by a Team Coach and 2–3 Team Captains, who guided the campers through the day’s activities, group games, and devotional times.

Team LOVE — SK to Grade 1

Team HO — Grades 2–3

Team PE — Grades 3–4

Team Faith — Grade 5

Our activity stations, led by different station teams, made learning interactive and fun:

Arts & Crafts and STEM Station – Creative projects, engaging experiments, and problem-solving challenges

Gym Station – High-energy games and teamwork exercises

Dance Station – Joyful worship through movement, preparing the campers to perform at the Saturday Gathering

Every morning, we began with praise and worship led by the Worship Team, guiding us into a time of uplifting songs and heartfelt praise.

Behind the scenes, the Kitchen Team kept everyone fueled and refreshed, while the Reception/GM/Photography & Videography ensured smooth operations and captured precious memories.

A special thank-you to our tireless volunteers, supportive parents, and faithful prayer partners—your investment of time, love, and prayer made an eternal difference. I always say, “No volunteers, no camp,” and this week was yet another reminder that VBC is truly a team effort. From guiding energetic campers to preparing meals, from teaching God’s Word to capturing precious memories, each of you played a vital role in making this week possible and impactful for eternity. You are deeply appreciated ❣️

At the end of VBC, we hosted a Fellowship Gathering for parents and grandparents, featuring performances from our teams and a short message. The parents had the opportunity to see all that their children accomplished throughout the week. We also held an “art exhibition” showcasing the campers’ arts and crafts, which they were able to take home afterward. The Gathering concluded with a pizza party, giving us a wonderful chance to connect and get to know the parents better. Everyone had a great time!

It was a blessing to watch campers grow in their understanding of God’s Word and to see friendships form across ages and backgrounds. Many seeds were planted, and we trust that God will continue to nurture them in the days ahead. It was also wonderful to see our volunteers faithfully modeling Christ’s love. Thank you to every staff member, helper, parent, and prayer partner who made VBC 2025 possible. May we all continue to “live it out” in our homes, schools, workplaces, and neighborhoods!
