About TheSinging.Bible
Experience God’s Word
TheSinging.Bible (pronounced “The Singing Dot Bible”) was created to help people experience Scripture in a fresh, engaging, and memorable way—through song!
From Genesis through Revelation, every chapter of the Bible has been presented through a wide range of musical styles, voices, moods, and settings.
TheSinging.Bible currently comprises 38,048 chapter-length recordings—32 complete musical renditions of all 1,189 chapters of the Bible, from Genesis through Revelation—and an estimated 3,500 hours of music.
One Bible. Many Musical Expressions.
The Bible speaks to every generation, culture, and season of life. TheSinging.Bible currently presents the complete biblical text through 21 distinct musical styles: Adult Choir, African Dance, Barbershop Quartet, Calming/Lullaby, Children’s Choir, Contemporary Pop, Country, Dramatic/Opera, Gospel, Gregorian Chant, Hard Rock, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Latin, Praise, Rap, Reggae, Rhythm and Blues/Soul, Sea Shanty, Spanish Alabanza, and Spanish Ballad Pop Latina. There are more styles on the way soon!
Each style is presented in both male and female voices, creating 32 complete musical renditions of the Bible. Each rendition offers a different way to encounter the same enduring Word of God.
Some recordings are energetic and celebratory. Others are reflective, peaceful, dramatic, or deeply reverent. Together, they create opportunities for Scripture to be heard in homes, churches, schools, vehicles, workplaces, and communities around the world.
Music and the Word of God
Music is powerful in helping listeners to focus, engage, understand, and remember Scripture.
It reaches the heart, crosses cultural boundaries, and allows familiar words to be experienced in new ways. TheSinging.Bible exists to make Scripture more accessible, engaging, memorable, and shareable—especially for people who may not regularly sit down to read the Bible.
TheSinging.Bible is not intended to replace the reading, study, or teaching of Scripture. It offers another way to hear it, absorb it, remember it, and share it.
A Note on Translation
TheSinging.Bible utilizes the Singing Bible Edition (SBE) of the Bible which is a copyrighted edition of the Berean Standard Bible (BSB). TheSinging.Bible users will note that in the viewable Bible text on site, the SBE includes the superscripts and selahs used in the Psalms. However, in the songs delivered on the site, those superscripts and selahs are not sung aloud as scholars assert that when the Israelites sang the Psalms (which are songs), they did not sing those elements of the text.
TheSinging.Bible would like to heartily acknowledge the key role the Berean Standard Bible has played in bringing our vast collection of songs to the world. You may learn more about the BSB by visiting Berean.Bible. While the BSB is in the public domain, the SBE used on TheSinging.Bible is copyright © 2026 by TheSinging.Bible, LLC.
Made Possible by New Technology
Without the wide array of AI-empowered technologies the team has used to produce these renditions of the Bible, TheSinging.Bible simply would not have been possible.
For perspective, complete recorded editions of the known works of Johann Sebastian Bach and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart—two of the most celebrated and prolific composers in music history—contain approximately 280 and 240 hours of music, respectively. The comparison is not one of artistic stature, but of scale: modern technology has made possible a musical undertaking that could not have been completed through traditional production methods alone.
Technology provided the tools, but bringing TheSinging.Bible to life has also required vast amounts of human effort, creativity, discernment, coordination, review, and commitment at every stage.
A Significant Collaborative Effort
TheSinging.Bible has been brought to life through the work of more than 20 committed contributors, including music producers, project managers, software developers, quality-control reviewers, marketing strategists, and strategic advisors.
Together, they have invested thousands and thousands of hours in production, review, organization, editing, proofreading, strategy, and planning.
Although many people have contributed to the project, the focus of TheSinging.Bible remains where it belongs: not on the producers but on God’s Word and the audience who experiences it.
Our Vision
Our vision is to make the Bible available everywhere through music to people of different ages, backgrounds, cultures and musical preferences—and eventually in all the major languages of the world.
We believe Scripture should be heard everywhere—in quiet moments and joyful gatherings, by children and adults, by lifelong Bible readers and by those encountering its message for the first time.
TheSinging.Bible invites the world to listen to the Bible—whether again or for the first time.
